U12 End of Season Netball Report

U12A

This season U12A have played brilliantly having some good wins and unfortunate loses! Not only that we entered two tournaments and won both playing fantastically. We won 15 matches and lost two, not counting the match we played against U13A. We have played brilliantly as a team and our shooters have been amazing and the defence has been great too. I personally think we should have had a few more wins at the start of the season but at that time we were just getting used to working as a team! I have to thank Miss Duckworth for coaching us and also Sally Ann Smith for the help at the tournaments. I hope have another great season and our aim is to be unbeaten. Here are our players and their positions they have played this season:

Izzy Nott - C
Lottie Atkinson - GA
Emily Seymour-Perry - GS
Olivia Watts/Heini Hughes - WA
Evie Dickinson - WD
Lizzie Rhoden - GD
Issy Dipple – GK

U12B

The U12B team have had an amazing season this year, being undefeated! To start the season, we played the U13B RGS team, winning 6-1 which boosted our confidence for the upcoming matches. Our first game playing against another school was against Solihull. As it was our first away match playing as a team together, we were all very nervous, but we came away with a win of 25-6.

We have played fourteen matches with the best win playing against Cheltenham Preparatory School with the score being 45-1. Our last match was against King's Worcester, our local rivals. We expected this to be our toughest match but we still came away with a win of 17-3.

We also took part in the City Cup, where we won all of our matches and became the champions! Everybody played well as a team and as the season progressed, we improved dramatically, not just individually, but as a team as well. Well played to everyone and I hope next year is just as successful!
